Czaring of America: Whackjob Science Czar Against Economic Growth

OK, we know John Holdren hates population growth. He cowrote that book with Paul Ehrlich about eugenics and forced abortions and sterilizations. His mentor was a proponent of eugenics and killing off of the unworthy. But now, we see that he also is against economic growth, and advocated for zero ECONOMIC GROWTH as well as population growth. And this guy is called progressive? How can you stop economic growth, that is progress, and be called progressive? Michelle Malkin is doing a great job of highlighting these thug oligarchs:

Christopher Neefus writes about Holdren’s views on “de-development” in the 1973 book, “Human Ecology:”

President Obama’s top science adviser, John P. Holdren, advocated the “de-development” of the United States in books he published in the 1970s.

“A massive campaign must be launched to restore a high-quality environment in North America and to de-develop the United States,” Holdren wrote in a 1973 book he co-authored with Paul R. Ehrlch and Anne H. Ehrlich. “De-development means bringing our economic system (especially patterns of consumption) into line with the realities of ecology and the global resource situation.”

In the vision expressed by Holdren and his co-authors, the Ehrlichs, the need for “de-development” of the United States demanded a redistribtuion of wealth.

“The need for de-development presents our economists with a major challenge,” they wrote. “They must design a stable, low-consumption economy in which there is a much more equitable distribution of wealth than in the present one. Redistribution of wealth both within and among nations is absolutely essential, if a decent life is to be provided to every human being.”

Holdren, who is director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, made these comments in the 1973 book “Human Ecology,” which he co-authored with the Ehrlichs, long-time advocates of curtailing population growth.

But wait, there's more:

President Obama’s top science adviser said in a book he co-authored in 1973 that a newborn child “will ultimately develop into a human being” if he or she is properly fed and socialized.

“The fetus, given the opportunity to develop properly before birth, and given the essential early socializing experiences and sufficient nourishing food during the crucial early years after birth, will ultimately develop into a human being,” John P. Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, wrote in “Human Ecology: Problems and Solutions.”

…“Human values and institutions have set mankind on a collision course with the laws of nature,” wrote the Ehrlichs and Holdren. “Human beings cling jealously to their prerogative to reproduce as they please—and they please to make each new generation larger than the last—yet endless multiplication on a finite planet is impossible. Most humans aspire to greater material prosperity, but the number of people that can be supported on Earth if everyone is rich is even smaller than if everyone is poor.”

The specific passage expressing the authors’ view that a baby “will ultimately develop into a human being” is on page 235 in chapter 8 of the book, which is titled “Population Limitation.”

A Bill to Stop the Czaring of America...

...or at least to put it in check...

GOP Rep. Jack Kingston of Georgia is sponsoring a Czar Accountability and Reform Act that would “would bar the use of appropriated funds to pay either expenses or salaries of members of task forces, councils, or similar offices established by the president and headed by a person appointed inappropriately to such a post without Senate advice and consent.”

The bill is sponsored by Rep. Jack Kingston, R-Ga. And co-sponsored by Rep. John Boozman, R-Ark. To his everlasting credit, Democrat Senator Robert Byrd, who, for all his faults is a keen student of history, has also been raising objections to the Czar madness that has gripped the Democrats and their media lapdogs. If a Republican president had tried to grab unaccountable power in this manner, there would be a firestorm.

Green Jobs? It All Depends on What Your Definition of the Word Is Is

There have yet to be any green jobs created by the stimulus. Yet, we have a czar for green jobs. Why no green jobs? Answer: We don't know what a green job is yet, according to Van Jones, green job czar for Der fuhrerChosen One:

President Obama devoted nearly $60 billion of his stimulus package to building a new green-based economy rich in renewable energy and strategies to cut carbon. But despite the price tag, not one green job yet exists.
Why are we still without an objective definition of a green job?
Well, we still don't have a unified definition, and that's not unusual in a democracy. It takes a while for all the states and the federal government to come to some agreement. But the Department of Labor is working on it very diligently. Fundamentally, it's getting there, but we haven't crossed the finish line yet.

Wow, real change and movement there, as unemployment balloons some more. Who is this Van Jones guy? Let's give you some background. He is an admitted communist, and has continued to advocate for Marxist policies. And, he apparently has little idea what he is supposed to be creating. Wow, real leadership and change you can believe in....NOT!

Obama's Science Czar Update: Babies Not Fully Human

Obama's science czar, John Holdren, doesn't believe that babies are human. Rather, babies can eventually develop into humans. I guess this means that we can abort babies post natal up to one year from birth. Gee, doesn't this sound like Mengele to you? Here are the salient quotes:

Obama Has a Job for Joe Goebbels...Behavioral Science Czar

Obama has a new czar in mind, and Congress is seeking to help him out. There is a bill that was debated on last night. It has to do with the creation of a behavioral science czar to get you to think certain ways. Behavioral science, people. This is a minister of propaganda and marketing! Here is the link to read about this czar. Here are some highlights:

To establish a social and behavioral sciences research program at the Department of Energy, and for other purposes.
The Secretary shall appoint or designate a Director of Social and Behavioral Research to carry out the program established under this section.

(c) Duties of the Director- The Director shall--

(1) develop a research plan in accordance with section 2;

(2) implement the research program under this section;

(3) work with the relevant Department of Energy program offices to integrate the results of social and behavioral research into their work;

(4) develop tools, practices, and information to apply and integrate the results of social and behavioral research into programs that--

(A) design, develop, and demonstrate technologies that supply energy and improve energy efficiency; and

(B) provide information on energy consumption to consumers

This person will be charged with getting you to agree with government programs, to see why we do what we do and what motivates us....and get us to be motivated to follow government directives. It would be set up to identify and understand social and behavioral factors that influence energy consumption to promote the utilization of the results of social and behavioral research to improve the design, development and demonstration and application of energy technologies policies and programs, and it's going to create a director of social and behavioral research.


This is nothing more than a propaganda minister. We get all these ministers, and now we will have a minister of propaganda. When can we start calling Barry the Fuhrer?

Science Czar

This is extremely troubling to me. John Holdren backed some controversial items in a textbook co-authored in 1977. Ok this was a long time ago. Yeah right. This goes to a pattern that President Obama has shown in picking people to work for him that increasingly have "social engineering" views that thru legislation we can affect people's behavior. Obama's work with Ayers on some social projects as well as other members of his czar hit squad shows an ongoing attempt by this administration in changing the social fabric of this country. What is a shame is that our supposed legislature does nothing in terms of checks and balances to vet these characters.
