Another Kerry Lie: The 900 Billion Dollar Question
John Kerry has said George W. Bush's assertion that he would want to raise over 900 billion dollars in raising taxes is wrong. However, if you look just at Kerry's healthcare proposal, 900 billion extra dollars is needed to pay for it. And, Kerry has stated that he is only going to roll back the tax cuts for the wealthy, those who make over 200,000 dollars. Well, if he does that, all he will get in revenue extra is about 250 billion over ten years, according to estimates. Therefore, who will foot the bill for THIS MASSIVE ENTITLEMENT? YOU AND ME, the middle class and below, and Kerry WILL RAISE everyone's taxes. Look at this analysis of his health care plan. Look at the costs and see how he is lying about not needing 900 billion dollars in extra revenue.

NCPA President John C. Goodman analyzed the health plan of likely Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry on CNNfn, saying "The burden Sen. Kerry's plan places on taxpayers is far too heavy in relation to the gain patients would receive." According to a prominent Democratic economist, Sen. Kerry's plan would cost $895 billion over the next 10 years and insure 27 million uninsured Americans, many of whom are children. However, the annual cost of Kerry's plan is $3,300 per newly insured, or $10,000 for a family of 3.Empahsis is ours, as usual.
"Insuring a healthy child should cost less than $1,000 annually," Goodman said, adding, "Under Sen. Kerry's plan, taxpayers would pay more for insurance for the uninsured than they currently spend on their own insurance."
Matt's Chat
More projection from the master. Mr. Kerry, the Party of Love (tm), and their Disciples of Doom (tm) can whine and carry on about a so-called Republican Attack Squad, but the truth is that those same folks have been smearing the President with lies, hatred and vitriol of a quantity and quality that pales in comparison to any other campaign in memory.
The President has a right to defend himself. And he has a right to point out why he deserves re-election. And he has the right to point out that his opponent (that's Mr. Kerry for you hamsters out there) has weaknesses that would be disasterous for the coutry should he (Kerry) be elected. The President and the Republican Attack Squad have managed to keep the campaign on the issues. Mr. Kerry and the Democrat Attack Squad (tm) can not.
When Sen. Flip-Flop stops diverting attention from the questions about his record and platform, and actually starts answering those questions; we'll see exactly who the best man is to lead this nation. It isn't the President who continues to run from his record. And no matter how many times the junior senator from Taxachusetts repeats his lie about the President "not having a record to stand on" the people ARE LOOKING AT HIS (Kerry's that is...). I for one, have absolutely no problem with that. Comparing the President's record to that of Senator Kerry comes out in our favor...
Mark's Remarks
Gee, Senator Kerry, I am not economist, but it looks like you are going to be 650 billion short on revenues for this terrible idea. And I guess you are going to raise everyone's taxes, right? I am sure you would sugar coat it with: we all need to chip in or nonsense, but face facts. You lied, once again. You ARE GOING TO RAISE TAXES ON EVERYONE, you are going to weaken the economy, and Bush's ads are correct in discussing the 900 billion dollar figure. You, Mr. Kerry, are a liar. And we don't need another liberal liar in the White House. We are still recovering from the last one.
