Yes, folks, Butler County Auditor Kay Rogers has requested that Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann take over the investigation. Of course, what Kay is forgetting to tell everybody is that Butler County Prosecutor Robin Piper asked her to turn over any evidence that she had by the end of the week (today?) and she has NOT DONE SO.
Worry not, friends, as Josh Sweigert, intrepid reporter for Cox Newspapers is on the case!
And it looks like he might finally get some help from journalists from the Cincinnati Enquirer...who offer up this bit of indignation from Rogers:
Rogers also pointed to an incident where Furmon repaid the county almost $800 in parking fees to offset his son's girlfriend's improper use of Furmon's county parking garage pass. She said she is "very concerned" that a county commissioner has a "history of this type of behavior."Has the Auditor spent any time at all looking at Rawnica Dillingham's record? What sort of history of behavior does Rawnica have. you might ask? Well, look here for a review... Is Kay at all "concerned" about Rawnica's "history of this type of behavior" and when will she begin investigating that?
I'm becoming more and more "concerned" about Kay Rogers the more I hear this stuff...
UPDATE: I'm not wild about the "Culture of Corruption Primary" rhetoric, but Modern Esquire expends quite a few pixels on the whole debacle over at BuckeyeStateBlog. He breaks down the Dynus "scandal" better than anybody I've read so far...
