And while I am not entirely convinced there wasn't some politics involved in the decision, it most certainly was NOT a backroom deal. And Jason Philabaum doesn't help his case when he goes whining to the press. Who does he think he is? Sheriff "Spotlight"?
The Commissioners had the right to make the appointment, they did, now the smart politician deals with it and adjusts his strategery. Nothing is owed to Jason or anybody else. It is in the hands of the Central Committee now and I have complete faith that they will continue to elect the right person for the right job.
