A Poll You May Not Have Seen on the News: Bush Wins

From Rasmussen Reports:
Now that the Democrats have selected their nominee, Election 2004 is starting where Election 2000 ended--in a dead heat. The latest Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll shows George W. Bush at 47%, John F. Kerry at 46%, and "some other candidate" at 3%.

The race appears to be stabilizing just before the Bush team launches their first ad campaign of the season. For the past nine days, and 13 of the last 15, the President's support has ranged from 47% to 49%.

The numbers for the Senator from Massachusetts have also been steady. On eleven of the past twelve days, Kerry's support has been measured at 45% or 46%.

Matt's Chat

It's still close, but the President would have won if the election were held over the last twelve days, according to this poll. Why haven't we heard that on the news?

Mark's Remarks

We haven't heard it on the news because the liberal elite media is joygasming over Kerry winning 30% of 10% of the total possible Democratic voters. He is not galvanizing the party. They are staying home, as the turnout shows. He is not rallying anyone other than his buddies on the hard left, and those whom he dupes into thinking he is a moderate. No, rather than report the polls as they are, they would much rather go to the liberal slanted polls, or tell us about Kerry's momentum, but what momentum? Winning 34% of 10% of your electorate is not exactly a mandate, or even a referendum, for that matter.

If this is what it is like after 10 months of unchallenged Bush bashing, I have further reason to hope for better numbers once the President begins to fight back, starting this Thursday.
