Bizzy has an open letter to "Congressman" Bob McEwen in which he suggests that Bouncin' Bob drop his Senate challenge and run for an open seat in the OH-06 Congressional race. Bizzy went so far as to provide all the rationale Bob would need to take such an action, and I can't argue with any of it.
The only thing I would add is that the Old Guard Republicans would be grateful to McEwen for not challenging DeWine. DeWine is going to have a hard enough time convincing conservatives that he hasn't made a left turn in the last year or so without having some other Establishment candidate running.
If politics is still in the old guy's blood, I recommend that he take Bizzy's advice and avoid any more embarrassing losses.
