Trial of the Century

Saddam's trial started this morning. The judge read the charges against Saddam and his co-defendents and notified them that they could face the death penalty if convicted. Naturally, Saddam plead innocent.

I fully expect the defense to play the "no fair" card to no avail. Afterall, the OJ trial was "fair" but one was left asking whether or not justice was served. Watch closely at how this trial is presented in the media. See who defends him publically and who doesn't.

I have just received word that the first session has ended with an adjournment orderred by the judge until November 28th. More time for Saddam's Dream Team to assemble some sort of defense...

How bleak is the outlook for Saddam? Even Iran wants a piece...
