Mr. Bernhardt Story Gets More Coverage

From WNDU-TV:
Some teachers in Michigan aren't too happy with the way one of their fellow teachers is being treated after being called to active duty.

The teacher is a National Guard reservist who'll have to cover the cost of a substitute teacher during part of his absence. Angry teachers, students and district residents are criticizing the decision by school administrators.

They say even though the teacher will still get his full pay while he's gone, it's not fair to make him pay for a substitute.
