Here is one piece of legislation that we'll want to watch and see what happens:
Veterans' Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act (H.R. 4843), sponsored by Rep. Jeff Miller (R-FL), provides a projected 2.6 percent annual cost-of-living adjustment for veterans' benefits effective December 1, 2005 for nearly three million service-connected veterans and survivors of service-connected veterans.
The brave men and women who have served this country deserve to be taken care of properly. This bill is a good step in the right direction. Let's see how many Democrats vote "no"...
