Jungle Jim's International Market is Expanding

The Journal-News is reporting that Jungle Jim's has signed a lease for the old Bigg's location near the Eastgate Mall.  This is the first expansion that I am aware of that takes Jungle Jim's off the Butler County / Fairfield campus.  The expansion is expected to add 400 jobs to the local economy.

UNSG Declares Food Price Crisis

This AP story that has Ban Ki-moon saying that the rise in food prices is a crisis has absolutely nothing to do with this story that says that the global warming craze has allowed global hunger to grow.

AlGore could not be reached for comment.

RELATED? UPDATE: Global rice panic hits Indiana.

UPDATE 2: The New York Sun knows what the real story is...
Mr. Gore was not available for an interview yesterday on the food crisis, according to his spokeswoman. A spokesman for Mr. Gore’s public campaign to address climate change, the Alliance for Climate Protection, declined to comment for this article.
But you heard it here first: AlGore could not be bothered reached for comment.

I'm Ordering Pizza Hut

I actually can't stand Pizza Hut's product because I think it is the greasiest on the market and that doesn't set well with me...but this ad has got the Crazy Kucinich space aliens all ticked off, so I have to support that!

Mayor Mallory's Screwball Sandwich

This is ONN:
The errant ceremonial first pitch by the mayor of Cincinnati on baseball's opening day has inspired a sandwich with a fitting name, The Mark Mallory Screwball.

The ingredients for the sandwich at Izzy's deli will be "any two meats tossed in the general direction of a bun or two pieces of bread." The Screwball will be served with a potato pancake and pickles for $7.75.

Mallory says he's flattered that the restaurant, which is located a block from City Hall, is naming a sandwich for him.

Mallory's pitch April Second at Great American Ball Park was several feet wide of home plate, making him the butt of jokes on late-night TV.

He's taken the ribbing in stride, even appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" last week.
