Butler County Update: Why Is This News Edition

I hesitate to even bring this up because I had a conversation with her a few months ago and I really feel like we're beating a dead horse here.  And this is coming from the guy who brought out the Dancing Snoopys when she lost in her bid for Commissioner.

Why is this news?

And Rawnica was never a GOP candidate for Commissioner, she was a candidate for the GOP nomination and she lost. BIG difference and a HUGE mistake.  One that a real journalist with layers of editors ought not be making because it betrays the bias of the paper.

I asked why this was news and the only answer I can see is that the biased paper can try to tie her to the Butler County Republican Party which rejected her candidacy.

Shame on Cox Newspapers for publishing this filth.  I have no idea how Michael D. Pitman can look himself in the morror...

Hasn't she lost enough?  I mean, she lost an election, she lost her business, she lost her husband, and now she's lost her dignity.  I feel pity for her.  Enough already.

Dillingham Plans to Run for Office Again

This just in...

Dear Friends:

Let me begin by saying V's Nightclub is alive and well and contrary to what you may read in the newspapers isn't going anywhere.

I also want to THANK each and every one of you for your continued friendship and support.

As a result of running for County Commissioner in 2006, I am still dealing with a great deal of political backlash as a result of running against former police officer in Charles Furman.

My primary goal was to protect the children of our community. I am proud of my accomplishments regarding the role I played in helping to pass new laws after the tragic death of Marcus Fiesel.

In spite of "the good ol boy" politics of Butler County, my husband Joe and I will continue to operate V's nightclub and have every intention of opening additional locations as soon as it becomes possible.

Many of you have asked me if I intend to run for public office again. The answer is YES!

The Republican Party isn't going to support her and as bad off as the Democrats are in Butler County, I can't imagine them latching on to this political genius either.

The truly sad thing about Mrs. Dillingham Wilson Dillingham Rusigno Dillingham is her continued usage of Marcus Fiesel as a political prop. It is tasteless, cheap and vile...which is, of course, why she does it.

As usual, Rawnica fails to accept responsibility for her actions. V's didn't lose its liquor license because of her primary challenge against Furmon. If anything, those in political circles would have wanted her to succeed so that story could finally get out of the newspaper and they could finally get down to the business of enacting good government without the distraction.

It takes more than bad political theater to win an election and Dillingham's broken record of "good old boy" politics is just too absurd to be believed. So while the news that Rawnica plans to run for something again might be good for the blogging businessx, it is surely bad news for Butler County.

EXIT QUESTION: Will Lori Viars back Rawnica again? How about Sheriff Leis? We know that Kay Rogers is solidly in her corner as is Mike Fox...of course, those last two will be joining her husband behind bars soon...

Dillingham is the One Playing Politics

Hamilton City Council has denied Rawnica Dillingham Wilson Dillingham Ruscigno Dillingham Rusicgno's request to transfer a liquor license and as expected she -- and her lawyer -- are trotting out all of the old one-liner favorites about backroom politics and political payback.

Let's review what we now about the party that is still going on at V's, shall we?

The police get calls to go out there quite a bit. Some might even classify that quantity of calls as " a lot" of calls. Let's review one in particular...

The Hamilton Police Department's vice unit conducted an undercover operation late last night at V's Nightclub, 1483 Millville Ave., after receiving tips the business was planning to offer erotic dancers to patrons, according to a department news release.

Posing as customers, detectives said they saw dancers wearing little or no clothing, offering erotic dances for $5 and touching patrons inappropriately, according to the release. Detectives also said they observed Eryka Huckins, a 20-year-old female from Cincinnati who was later arrested, expose her breasts and allow dancers to touch them.

That's not the sort of thing that you get to "do over."

I continue to be amazed at the gall of this woman. She defiantly throws caution to the wind and violates the law and then has the audacity to play the politics card as if her own actions had no bearing on the decision at all. She has never shown any willingness to accept any kind of responsibility for anything that has ever happened. Politics had nothing to do with this decision. Her record and actions have set these events in motion.

Rawnica lost the race to Commissioner Chuck Furmon because she was a lousy candidate who has a rather casual relationship with the truth. I give her plenty of bonus points for moxy and theatrical performance skills, but enough is enough already. Her 15 minutes were up a long time ago and she refuses to leave the stage gracefully like the petulant child that she is.

At some point after the primary, I exchanged a couple of emails with Mrs. Dillingham-Wilson-Dillingham-Ruscigno-Dillingham and she actually said, "You portrayed me as some kind of whore!"

I still don't have anything for that one...

Somebody ought to ask Sheriff Si Leis, whom endorsed her too, what he thinks about all of this...

Butler County Update: Today's Poorly Sourced, Third-Hand Rumor Mongering

Today's poorly sourced, third-hand rumor goes like this: somehow, Commissioner Furmon gets indicted for...something...and then Rawnica Dillingham-Wilson-Dillingham-Ruscigno-Dillingham runs as an independent.

This is simply crazy talk.

First of all, there has been no evidence presented to date which would lead me to believe that Chuck Furmon has done anything that would warrant an indictment. Even the silly call for an ethics investigation on the pay raises for his ex-son-in-law aren't going anywhere.

Second, Rawnica Dillingham-Wilson-Dillingham-Ruscigno-Dillingham had a perfect storm and still couldn't win. Why? Because she built her entire campaign on Dynus and Marcus Feisel. Dynus has blown up in her face because two of the prominent politicans she featured on her DVD (which I still have, by the way -- those will make for GREAT ads against her) have either already plead guilty or are under investigation. Marcus Feisel's case was a tragedy, but using it the way she has is just disgusting and the citizens of Butler County have pretty much seen through all of that.

Third, Rawnica Dillingham-Wilson-Dillingham-Ruscigno-Dillingham represents the kind of politician that we are trying very hard to get rid of in Butler County. She is, as mentioned in the above item, tied very closely to both Kay Rogers and Mike Fox...is that who you want representing you, Butler County? I think not... The Culture of Intimidation and Innuendo needs to pack it up and move on down the road...we're not buying it anymore.

Lastly, did I mention that this scenario is absolutely bat$#|+ crazy???

UPDATE: Rawnica emails in...an excerpt:

The election is over. I have moved on with my life. You haven't heard about my doing anything politically controversial since the primary...have you? No. I have not. I am doing things to try to get my personal life back in order, spend time with my family and do the things I can do to help make Butler County a better place to live. I have offered to help our Party in any way possible. I love this County and I love helping people, in whatever ways I can. I am not running for anything, I am simply living my life.

I don't care if Mr. Furmon is indicted, if he hates puppies or if he has sex with goats. He is the Republican candidate by process of the Republican Primary. I do care what the voters think and what the voters decided. Either way, I am not running for anything this November. Even if I stomped my feet up and down and waved my arms in the air screaming...I couldn't run as an Independent....it isn't legally allowed. lol. I wish no personal harm on anyone. It was just politics. The campaign is over.

There you have it, folks...Rawnica is NOT going to run in November.

Can we get back to rumors that have some basis in reality now?

Furmon vs. Dillingham-Wilson-Dillingham-Ruscigno-Dillingham: The Sweet Sweet Taste of Victory

Yes. It's true. Chuck Furmon, the endorsed Republican, won the Big One last night and he did in style: 60-40. Rawnica Dillingham-Wilson-Dillingham-Ruscigno-Dillingham had this to say (courtesy of intrepid reporter Josh Sweigert of Cox Newspapers):

"I would like to congratulate my opponent for waging such a tough campaign," she said. "I would call upon all Republicans to unify and act like real Republicans when it comes to the issues of the protection of our children, our seniors and lowering taxes."

I'm so happy about this result, I'm going to ignore the snide "call" by the loser...
