Obama, Not Senators, Running Immigration Bill from White House

We have been played again.  We have listened to the woefully inept and incompetent Republicans in the House and the Senate, and YES, MR. BOEHNER, I AM TALKING TO YOU!  We have listened to the lamestream media who have said that this is a gang of 8 in the Senate talking compromise.  Well, no, it is a gang of 8 team players being run by Obama himself.  This from the Daily Caller:

The White House is playing a larger role in developing the Gang of Eight’s immigration bill than its supporters publicly admit, according to a forthcoming article in The New Yorker.
“‘No decisions are being made without talking to us about it,’ the official said of the Gang of Eight negotiations … ‘This does not fly if we’re not O.K. with it,’” a senior Obama official told author Ryan Lizza for the pending article.
White House officials also believe the emerging bill will be a huge success for President Barack Obama.

 
So, now that we know that this is going to help Obama, are the Republicans going to stand against it?  Hell no they wont!  Because they are in the pockets of the big money donors, and those donors want cheap labor that will not penalize them under Obamacare.  You see, by the newly minted "citizens" not being eligible for Obamacare, they will be cheaper to hire than those of us who were already citizens.  Boehner is only too eager to help his big money donors, and it appears Paul Ryan has also checked his ethics at the door in favor of getting some cashola for his presumptive presidential bid in 2016. 

But the real sad part is everybody is listening to Democrats and morons like Lindsey Graham tell Republicans how to win the White House.  Why in the hell would you listen to your enemy giving you tips on how to win elections?  Why would you listen to such a failure and scrotumless candyarse like Graham tell you anything?

If Rubio, Boehner, Ryan are the best and brightest of the GOP, then we better all just ask for our little red obamabooks and get with his communist program.

Does Marco Rubio Think American Workers Can't Cut It?

This is a logical question to ask, not only because of the Senator's role in pushing the immigration reform shamnesty bill through the Senate and getting House members who are in the pocket of companies that want to hire low cost cheap labor like Paul Ryan and John Boehner to go along with this lipsticked pig of a plan.  Also, Rubio seems to like to employ anti-American staff members.  Take Rubio aide Enrique Gonzalez.  This man said the following, according to the Corner:

[Rubio aide Enrique] Gonzalez helped to unlock the deal with labor and the Chamber of Commerce. The two biggest sticking points were wages for foreign workers (the unions wanted them to be higher) and the objections of the Building and Construction Trades union, which argues that plenty of Americans are looking for this kind of work.

Rubio sided with the Chamber against the construction workers. ‘There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it,’ a Rubio aide told me. ‘There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. And so you can’t obviously discuss that publicly.’ In the end, the wage issue was settled to the A.F.L.-C.I.O.’s satisfaction, and the Building and Construction Trades union won a cap on the number of visas for foreign construction workers.

So, again, does Senator Rubio think American workers can't cut it?  And does he think giving amnesty to 11 million workers who will not be a penalty to hire under Obamacare to companies is going to put more AMERICANS to work? 

Here is what Rubio's spokesperson, with egg on their face, said:

  We strongly objected to the magazine including that background quote in the piece because it’s not what Sen. Rubio believes or has ever argued. In truth, Sen. Rubio has always said the reason we need a robust temporary worker program is to create legal avenues for US businesses to meet labor needs when not enough Americans apply for jobs. This is a persistent issue in many industries, like agriculture, and has been a draw for illegal immigration in the past. The legislation that Sen. Rubio agreed to sponsor creates a robust temporary worker program to meet our economic needs while protecting American workers and wages.

Sen. Rubio believes that American workers can compete against anyone in the world.

In other words, we are ticked that the cat has been let out of the bag that Senator Rubio employs people who are against the American worker but are working hard to make sure that illegals can be hired with no penalty til hell freezes over.

Senator Rubio, shame on you! 

Senator Jim DeMint on Debt Ceiling 'Deal'

Fellow Conservatives:



The debt deal has been made and now Congress has adjourned for the August recess. I wish I could tell you that our principles prevailed, but they didn't and there's no honest way to put a happy face on the outcome.



The final agreement, which the President signed into law yesterday:

Raises the debt limit by as much as $2.4 trillion;
Allows the debt to continue to grow by $7 trillion over the next decade;
Creates a new, 12-member "super-committee" with the power to force major tax increases through Congress;
Threatens our AAA bond rating; and
Never balances the budget

Washington is addicted to spending and it's a bipartisan addiction. The debt deal passed the Senate with 74 votes -- 46 Democrats and 28 Republicans. You can see the full results at SenateConservatives.com.



Some of you are outraged. Many are discouraged. In fact, a number of you have emailed me asking what this means for our cause, where we go from here, and what we should do next.



I believe it confirms that many of our elected leaders in Washington are the problem, and the only effective strategy to solve it is to elect new senators who truly share our values and have the courage to fight for them.



You helped us do exactly this last year and I'm proud to report that all five of our 2010 winners voted against the debt agreement. These men stood shoulder-to-shoulder throughout this debate and fought for a balanced budget.



If you have time, please take a few minutes today to call their offices to thank them for their courage and to urge them to keep fighting. Taking a stand like they did can be isolating at times and it's critical they know patriots like you are standing with them.

I am also happy to report that both of the U.S. Senate candidates we have endorsed for 2012 -- Ohio State Treasurer Josh Mandel (R-OH) and former Texas Solicitor General Ted Cruz (R-TX) -- publicly opposed the debt deal.



Conservatives fought for the right policies throughout this debate and forced the President and the entire Washington establishment to respond to our arguments. Our opponents even felt compelled to parrot our message of less spending.



Our strategy of electing rock-solid leaders to the Senate is working. Now we need to expand it so the policies enacted in Washington actually match the rhetoric coming out of it.



The awful outcome of this debate is discouraging, but it makes me want to work harder than ever to elect more leaders who have the courage to balance the budget. We can bring real change to Washington but it means changing the people we send there.
