AFP-Ohio Urges Ohio's General Assembly to Pass Senate Bill 216

COLUMBUS- Americans for Prosperity-Ohio urges Ohio's General Assembly to pass Senate Bill 216, which was introduced this week by Senator Kris Jordan. Senate Bill 216 will repeal the onerous mandates placed on Ohio's energy industry in 2008 by Senate Bill 221.

Considering the vast amount of energy resources in Ohio, these mandates over regulate Ohio's energy industry and unnecessarily increase energy prices and cause job losses in Ohio's communities.

AFP-Ohio will work to support Senate Bill 216 and end Senate Bill 221's intrusion of government into Ohio's free market.

"At a time when Ohioans are struggling to provide for their families, the last thing we need is legislation like Senate Bill 221 that artificially raises Ohioans' energy bills and drives business and jobs out of Ohio," said AFP-Ohio State Director Rebecca Heimlich.

For the second time in a week, I will ask...  WTH is wrong with Ohio Republican office holders?

Another state representative with OVI rap to beat...  That's just what we need.  Could you guys at least try not to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory? 

At least it sounds like there may be a defense in the works for Jarrod Martin; but if he was actually under the influence, I want him gone.  (SIDEBAR: At least he wasn't returning from the State Dinner, no THAT would have been embarrassing...)

And while we're on the subject, if Kris Jordan actuall laid a hand on his wife, I want him outta here too.

THIS is why a Zero Tolerance Policy should have teeth...because when it doesn't, the Children run amok.

WTH is Wrong With Ohio Republican Office Holders???

Seriously, after the Mecklenborg fiasco, we really didn't need a scandal over in the Ohio Senate.

I haven't seen very much detail on this situation, but things don't look good for Kris Jordan after his wife called 911 for a domestic violence situation developed between the couple.

I gotta say, I'm kind of shocked that this Zero Tolerance Policy is getting so much usage.....

Come on, guys, stop making it easy for the liberals...
