Control over the security forces are the main issue internally for the Palestinians. If they can't work this one out, how can they possibly figure out how to control the terrorists who act on their behalf? How can they possibly be ready to work for peace in the region? Arafat continues to not get it...

Let's see....Arafat and his Prime Minister arguing, Prime Minister threatening to quit.....does anyone else get a sense of deja vu here? Abbas quit. Qureia wants to quit, wants out.....peace goes nowhere since, and only gets worse. What is the unifying trait? ARAFAT!!! This man, who may be dying of cancer, is akin to Hitler in his megalomania. The man thinks he can maintain power forever by appointing his disciples, and when they grow a backbone, he seeks to ouster them. This person is the biggest reason why Israel and Palestinians fight, as he has no vision, he has no mission other than his own personal dogma and the cult of personality he has established. Arafat never wanted peace, he only wanted power. He is just like most of his Fatah party and Hamas...It is all about killing enemies, not about working toward what most sane people want: PEACE. Arafat is undermining this, and I know it sounds callous, but I will be looking forward to the time when his heart or this cancer overwhelms him and we don't have to deal with him or his megalomania anymore.
