I believe in the Patriot Act. It isn't about taking civil liberties away from citizens; it is about catching terrorists and preventing them from killing us. Those who politicize the Patriot Act and anti-terrorism efforts really don't have a plan to combat the problem and all the rhetoric is to divert attention away from that fact. This is war. Hmm...even some liberals are jumping off the bandwagon....It seems only the Nincompoop Nine are the ones attacking the Patriot Act, and that is just to play to a crowd.....Fellow Democrats on the Hill are defending the act, even noted Bush-haters and uberliberals Joe Biden and Diane Feinstein...Both said no constituent or anyone else had shown them evidence that rights had been violated....They challenged the ACLU (AntiAmerican Criminal Liars Union) to provide evidence, and they had noe...Wow, doesn't it hurt to have your own case undercut by your own party? All one has to do with the Patriot Act is READ ALL OF IT. There is much judicial oversight involved in this matter, and there are many burdens of proof to be done before the most invasive methods are used....AS usual, it is nothing more than playing to the crowd, and more pandering....Great substance there, Dims, really!Based on his emptyheaded criticism, it is no wonder Al Gore flunked law school.
