Father of Pakistan's Bomb Admits Sharing

From My Way News (AP):

The father of Pakistan's atomic bomb has confessed to selling nuclear secrets to Iran, Libya and North Korea, but authorities have yet to decide if the national hero will go on trial, officials said Monday.

Top scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan was sacked as adviser to the prime minister Saturday and is the main suspect in a two-month investigation into allegations that individuals passed on Pakistan's nuclear weapons secrets to third countries.

Seven suspects are still under investigation, but senior former military and intelligence officials -- who experts say must have known about Khan's activities -- are not being questioned.

Putting Khan on trial is a sensitive issue in Pakistan, where he is revered as a national hero and the father of not only the country's, but the Islamic world's atomic bomb.

Matt's Chat

What did they know and when did they know it! HALLIBURTON! Lie after lie after lie after lie. This was cooked up in Karachi. We demand an investigation.

Wait a minute...oh...it is Pakistan, not the evil Bush administration. Who cares?

Mark's Remarks

Friends, Matt is trying to be funny, but he raises a valuable point. Where is the outrage? Instead of worrying about digging up scandals to defeat a President, why don't the liberals instead think about all this going on. We now have proof of tech sharing, and I am sure the Clintonistas knew about it. That is probably why it is not being covered much except by FoxNews. The libs do not want to admit the depths of our intelligence handicaps in the Clinton years, that this could go on and us not know. What else do you expect from intelligence done 200 miles above the earth? I just love the libs. Create a problem, and when it shows itself blame it on the Republicans.

Seriously, this person should be punished to the fullest extents of what passes for the law in Pakistan. He should be tried for treason and selling military secrets, kind of like what should happen to a certain person from Arkansas.....ah....a fella can dream, can't he?
