Scotty Shoots At Kerry

From the White House Briefing Room (today):
Q Senator Kerry said earlier today that under President Bush's watch, the U.S. military is stretched to the breaking point. He says that 2,500 are waiting for equipment, there's been inadequate medical care. He goes on to say that the administration has exposed young soldiers to unnecessary danger because there was not a shared burden with boots on the ground, and that forces are spread too thin. Do you have a response?

MR. McCLELLAN: Yes. One, I think Senator Kerry's record tends to contradict his own election-year rhetoric. And if you look at some of the facts -- I'd point you back to the wartime supplemental on Iraq. Senator Kerry -- I guess he said he voted for it first, and then he voted against it. Talk about having it both ways. I think that was a very telling comment about Senator Kerry, but he needs to look back at his own record on that issue.

This President, from day one, has provided strong support to our troops to make sure they have all the resources they need to do their job, and that includes supporting significant pay raises for our troops, improving housing and health care for our troops. This President, from day one of this administration, has been working to make sure our troops have all the resources they need to do their job.

Mark's Remarks

Scotty gets a point in! Now I wish he would take Helen and shoot her to Afghanistan!

Seriously, Mr. Kerry has twisted the truth and continues to lie and equivocate on most issues. Elitists would call this nuanced, I CALL IT OUT AND OUT FRAUD AND LYING! To wit:
Mr. Kerry said the President did not fund the war-IT WAS KERRY WHO VOTED FOR THE WAR BUT AGAINST FUNDING.

Mr. Kerry said that 500,000 veterans would be REMOVED from healthcare coverage--not true....the PROPOSAL, not law, calls for wealthy veterans to pay 15 dollars as a copay instead of 5 dollars, and I thought Dims were all about hitting the rich up for money.

Mr. Kerry said our coalition is meaningless, and calls to mind the coalition of 1991--Mr. Kerry in 1991 said that that coalition was meaningless and a paper alliance as well. So, Mr. Kerry, which is it?

Mr. Kerry said he alerted the world about terrorism before 9/11--then why didn't he publicize the concerns in the letter from the retired FAA agent?

Mr. Kerry said in one letter that he was against the strikes on Libya, yet in another letter to the same constituent he said he supported Reagan's action.

These actions and his attitude toward the common people of America ("IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS") show him to be an elitist, liberal, maniacal habitual liar who will say anything to get political traction. He is not a leader, he is an appeasing liberal who has not shown a political backbone in all his years.
