This has become an overused phrase, but Pat Tillman was a great American. Read about this guy's story. He was on the fast track to stardom in the NFL, even playing for a doormat like Arizona. He turned all that down after 9/11 to go and defend his country, as his father and grandfather had. He and his brother both signed up to be Rangers.
Mr. Tillman's example of sacrifice needs to be held up as an example to young people, especially in this world of selfish a$$hole athletes who care only about the bling bling and little about helping others, or defending their freedoms. Pat Tillman, we mourn your death, and honor your service. Godspeed, and thank you.
