Kerry: Keep Religion Out of Politics

From MSNBC:
Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry’s campaign said Friday that religion should not be an issue in U.S. politics after a top Vatican official said Catholic politicians who support abortion rights should be denied communion.

Matt's Chat

Mr. Kerry, a suggestion if I may...if you don't want religion in politics, stop campaigning in churches.

Mark's Remarks

Amen....I, for one, and speaking as a Pastor, am sick and tired of seeing Dims and Libs "pimp out" the churches....it is disgusting, and it is disgraceful.....And, Mr. Kerry, maybe if we had a little more religion in politics, then maybe we wouldn't be having so much dishonesty and equivocation like: I voted for it before I voted against it, etc.
