I had no idea this was going on... Should I be surprised? Am I? Not really... Is it still a tragedy? You betcha.Is this a scandal for the Lutherans at the same level as the Catholics? Well, that depends on how widespread the evil is and what the Church leadership is doing about it. There isn't enough information here to be able to determine those answers.

Matt, in every religion, you are going to find those who hide behind the Cloth to subvert children and who pervert the Church, or synagogue, or mosque. It is a shame, but we are all fallen people. However, these people should be dealt with, excommunicated, and defrocked. Nuff said.
