Perry on Kerry

From Perry on Politics:

After reading this article from the New York Times, Tim says:
If he is not a liberal than what is he? It is not just the Republicans pointing out his liberal voting record, but fellow Democrats and interest groups. They continue:

"Mr. Kerry suggested that he would not allow himself to be pigeonholed as a liberal and said that he expected to win some states in the South, although he declined to name them." [from the NYT article]

Sound familiar? A bit like the foreign leader claim. What I would like to know is why some are proud of being liberal yet others run from the label as fast as they can. John Kerry is the most liberal Senator according to the National Journal, why not embrace it and go for the gold. He won't do this as it is a sure way to run into trouble this fall. Americans tend to be right of center, not to the left of Ted Kennedy.

Matt's Chat

Sure it sounds familiar...it is the same sentiment. Kerry must think we've added the states of Cuba, Venezuela, and Haiti to the flag... Mr. Kerry, those countries can't help you either; they don't get a vote in our election.

Mark's Remarks

This is so funny....the foreign leader statement didn't work, why does he think casually mentioning some states in the South will help him? It is a shame that John Kerry has to lie and equivocate (hamsters say nuance) in order to cover up his flip flopping and his own shameful voting record on taxes and defense. The man is showing more and more that he will say or do anything to get the office, but as with most liberals, he will not know what do with it if he got it, and Americans must make sure HE NEVER GETS IT.......

John Kerry-flipping opinions everyday for 25 years, and calling comrades rapists and murderers since 1971......
