Don't Enforce the Law - It Causes Fear
From SanLuisObispo.com via Michelle Malkin's new blog:
A federal crackdown on illegal immigrants has resulted in more than 150 arrests and caused fear in some neighborhoods of Riverside and San Bernardino counties.[Emphasis added]
U.S. Border Patrol agents have stopped people on streets or even stepping off of buses in Corona and Ontario, cities far from the Mexican border.
"All of our operations are based on intelligence (about sites with suspected illegal immigrants). We did not just decide one morning to go to this place for no reason," said Tomas Jimenez, senior patrol agent in San Diego. "And basically all the decisions we make when arresting a person are based on nationality only."

[gasp!] Oh my GOD! Don't you law enforcement officials enforce the law! Fearmongers! For the love of...
One woman told the Los Angeles Times that her husband and his brothers were arrested a few blocks from their Ontario apartment on Friday as they drove to work at a nearby warehouse. They were deported to Mexico.I mean really, these people have to break our laws. Repeatedly.
The woman, who gave her first name as Elidia, said she is three months pregnant and has been in the United States for about five months. She has no family in the country and is living with friends but said she is afraid to leave her apartment.
"Right now I'm just sad and scared," she said. "I'm just here waiting, hoping that my husband comes back."
