The popular Arab news channel Al-Jazeera, which the United States has accused of bias, has issued a code of ethics, vowing to "uphold journalistic values" and to be sensitive to the victims of the wars and disasters it covers.
The code, issued in a statement at the end of a two-day international media forum that concluded Tuesday, said the station will "strive to reach and deliver the truth, respect our audience."

Mark's Remarks
"Uphold Journalistic Values"--I wonder if they mean deceive and divert coverage from the good going on in Iraq to the actions of a few psycho marines who are being punished...those are the journalistic values of American journalism, and they are already adhering to that at al-J. This is more spin and smoke and mirrors. They will continue to broadcast pro terror views as they have since 9/11. Maybe we need to start cracking down or have friendly nations crack down on this terror tv network, since they seem to be getting all sorts of al queda goodies, so we can find these animals and remove them from the earth.
