No quote, go read it all...
Matt's Chat
I am unable to believe most of this at this time. The story doesn't reveal sources by name so there is no way to evaluate the reliability of the information.
I do think that the author is trying to persuade the reader that the foreign
fighters terrorists aren't all that important in the grand scheme of things. And I absolutely do not believe anybody in the military would say that they aren't on the jihadist front. It just doesn't jive with other sources that have identified themselves as the real deal.
This story smells of Jayson Blair-esque reporting...just my opinion...
Mark's Remarks
I just love reporters who don't even name a vague notion of a source, but simply report their so-called ideas as fact. This is bull. It reeks of commentating as reporting.
