From Yahoo News:
Democratic candidate John Kerry, whose campaign demanded to know on Wednesday whether President Bush read a key Iraq intelligence assessment, did not read the document himself before voting to give Bush the authority to go to war, aides acknowledged.
"Along with other senators, he was briefed on the contents of the NIE (National Intelligence Estimate) by (then-CIA Director) George Tenet and other administration intelligence officials," said Kerry spokesman Phil Singer.
Kerry's campaign has challenged Bush to say whether he read the complete intelligence report before deciding to go to war, or whether he just read a one-page summary, which Democrats say gave him none of the dissenting views included in the full version.

I think this is a legitimate question, if a bit hypocrtical coming from Kerry of all people, to ask the President. And I think the President should ask the same question of Sen. Kerry, who voted for the war and apparently didn't read the full NIE. I would be very surprised if the President himself didn't read the whole NIE...and honestly, I'd be very surprised if Rice and Rumsfeld (at a minimum) hadn't either. And if the briefing excuse works for Sen. Kerry, it should work for the President as well (assuming that he didn't read the whole thing which I do not believe). This is more Hannity memo nonsense. Accuse, accuse, accuse...show no evidence...smoke and mirrors...deny, deny, deny...truth comes out... Result: Democrats lose election. This memo outlined a really bad strategy that if the Democrats were as smart as they think they are, they would abandon it.
Mark's Remarks
John Kerry cannot even take time from his propaganda schedule and celebrity fun to get intel briefings, as revealed on Larry King. Yep, hearing Whoopi talk gynecology is so much more important than, I don't know, serving the people who elected you to office and serving the people of the US. Great priorities, there John. And while we are at it, look at the attendance rate for these two guys who care so much about who was doing what. They were absent about 40% or more of the time over the last 2-3 years, missing many votes. These guys don't care about serving hte nation, they care about control and power and prestige.
John Kerry didn't read the briefing totally? Neither did Hillary, or Daschle, or Edwards or any of the other screaming screeching Libs out there? They should all be tarred and feathered then, according to John Kerry. I hope he will be first in line.
