Kerry's economic proposals seem tuned to serve his wife's economic interests. His proposal last March to end tax breaks for U.S. corporations that do business overseas was designed with a loophole that would let the H. J. Heinz Company — the centerpiece of Mrs. Kerry's family fortune — keep its overseas tax breaks, and get a lower domestic tax rate at the same time.

Where is the help for French mustard? What about foreign producers of ketchup, what about their chances to compete fairly? Are there going to be no-bid condiment contracts? See how stupid this sounds? Yet that same type of rabble is all we are hearing from the Left. But, when you look at their proposals, THEY REALLY DO FAVOR BUDDIES AND GIVE BREAKS TO FRIENDS. Look at the the armtwisting Clinton did for friends during the 1990s, look at John Kerry and where his campaign contributions came from as it relates to the BIG DIG, look at his economic plans. These leftists are projecting their spoils system ideas onto the conservatives...but look at the pot calling the kettle when it comes to the facts.
