It has been reported that there is a possibility that Russia will send a large number of troops to Iraq shortly before the election. If true, this would surely end the constant whining from the lefties about the administrations ability to secure a "legitimate coalition."
Or would it?
Democrats led by John Kerry have been making this claim for quite some time and I don't think that 40,000 Russians would change their rhetoric. France is the only country that matters to the liberals, it is their Mecca.
Personally, I would welcome the Russians to Iraq just to see if it would silence the noise. With the Iraqis taking over more and more of their own security needs, are the Russians really needed in Iraq? I'm not so sure. But I welcoem them just the same.
