Kerry previously said such a vote would be 'irresponsible,' but now claims to be 'proud' of it and calls his decision 'complicated.' Kerry's 'truth squad' should know few truths are more basic than the need to support troops after voting to send them into combat.
"Another truth unlikely to be mentioned today is that 24 Medal of Honor recipients have signed a letter calling on John Kerry to stop his false accusations against the President's strong record of supporting our nation's veterans. The facts are that veterans healthcare funding has increased 40 percent since the President took office and new veterans healthcare centers are opening across the country."
