VMA News

From WorldNetDaily:
A widespread assumption that young Americans watching MTV may be more prone to vote for John Kerry for president over George W. Bush could be highly off target, as Kerry's daughters received prolonged booing at the network's Music Video Awards in Miami.

"From the moment Alexandra and Vanessa started speaking, the boos outweighed anything close to cheers," according to the Drudge Report.

Another website, juiceenews.com stated: "At one point one of the daughters even held her finger to her mouth in an effort to 'shush' the rowdy crowd. The boos only grew louder when the daughters suggested that the best choice for a president in this year's election should be their father."

When the most liberal Senator loses the MTV vote, you know they are in trouble...

Mark's Remarks

What amazes me is the level of censorship the Left is in favor of these days. They want to have John O'Neill and his fellow Swifties silenced, acting like these guys came out of the woodwork. The truth is far different. This group was around since May, just Kerry did not figure on them getting money to put out commercials, and he figured his cohorts in the media would not air them. However, thanks to bloggers out there, the outcry could not be denied.

Back to the VMAs. A liberal attempting to silence a crowd because they were booing? If it were the Bush twins they would be labelled as out of touch, anti-free speech, and lacking class. However, since it was the Kerrys, well, let's just not cover it. And, to add insult to injury, MTV, the bastion of free speech which encourages its viewers to rock the vote (but evidently only if you are liberal) edited out the booing for the Kerry girls in the re-broadcast, much as they did the booing of Shrillary in NYC after 9/11 at the benefit concert.

So much for being paragons of freedom of expression--if you don't curse, advocate drug use, and support John Kerry, MTV and friends will simply edit you out. So much for serving the youth, eh? Maybe the revolution WON'T be televised, after all?
