WMDtv Show Notes: Monologue

Welcome to episode 13 of Weapons of Mass Discussion., I’m Matt Hurley and joining me at the anchor desk is Mark Garbett. Show notes for this program can be found at our website: www.massdiscussion.blogspot.com.

The staff of WMDtv would like to congratulate conservatives everywhere for surviving last week’s Democratic convention. Yes, it is true that although John Kerry was expected to get a 15 point bounce following the Boston Tease Party where the Democrats promised us that hype was on the way.

Speaking of the convention, the Dayton Daily News recently compared this pathetic display to the Miss America Pageant. The Pageant recently changed their rules minimizing the talent portion of the competition. I mean, who cares if she can play the violin, it’s a beauty contest! Likewise, the editorial board opined that maybe there is no connection between Kerry’s ability to run the country and his atrocious speech-making ability.

Let’s jump in to the way back machine for a minute and recall that DNC Chairman Terry McAwful made the accusation that George W. Bush was AWOL for a time when the President was serving his country honorably in the Texas Air National Guard during the Vietnam War. The White House released a whole bunch of records showing that the President was honorably discharged thinking that would settle the matter. Unfortunately, the press requested more records which appeared to have been inadvertently destroyed by the Defense Department. There has been a development in this story. The Pentagon reported that they were in error when they declared the records destroyed and that they had been found. The records cover July through September of 1972 and yet another liberal lie is put down.

Speaking of liberals, we’d like to warn the liberals in our audience that this show will get their underwear in a bunch because tonight we’re going to be talking about the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth’s scathing new ad. We also have an update on the Annie Jacobson story from our last show about Flight 327. Plus, we’ll open up the phone lines in the bottom half of the hour for your calls so Choose Your Weapon and Let’s Get It On!

John Kerry Delenda Est!
