"The reason we will succeed is that Iraq wants to be free." Iraq doesn't need American leaders to send mixed signals.
KERRY REBUTTAL: Iraq was not even close to the center of the war on terror until the President decided to invade it.
BUSH EXTENSION: Kerry voted to authorize and then didn't vote to fund it. Kerry has sent the wrong message to the troops.
