Kerry Displays Fine Diplomatic Skills

By Matt Hurley for the TIB Network:

From :
Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry said Thursday that Iraq's Ayad Allawi was sent before Congress to put the "best face" on a Bush administration policy that has gone wrong.

Shortly after Allawi, the interim government's prime minister, gave a rosy portrayal of progress toward peace in Iraq, Kerry said the assessment contradicted Allawi's own statements as well as the reality on the ground.

"I think the prime minister is, obviously, contradicting his own statement of a few days ago, where he said the terrorists are pouring into the country," Kerry said. "The prime minister and the president are here obviously to put their best face on the policy, but the fact is that the CIA estimates, the reporting, the ground operations and the troops all tell a different story."

Matt's Chat

Sure...just call Allawi a liar why don't ya. Allawi won't be one of Kerry's Foreign Leaders if he continues with this line of hooey...

Yes, hooey. It is a technical term.

Mark's Remarks

John Kerry continues to show great skills. He calls our willing allies coerced and bribed. He downplays their sacrifices of blood and treasure. Yep, this is the guy to bring allies in.

And here is the latest talking point: Allawi is the DEVIL!!! Yep, he is evil because he was part of a group that worked to subvert and depose Saddam's tyrannical regime....Yep, an evil man. Indeed, he is evil and I guess also Tom Jefferson, John Adams, George Washington, and others were sheer evil for seeking to depose the British. I guess Yeltsin and Walesa were evil for seeking to depose the Soviet Communist oppression. You see this waffle and "nuance?" Yep, these are the same people who supported (there are pictures!) Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua and other dictators....

I hate to tell the Left, but SADDAM WAS AN EVIL, TYRANNICAL SATANIC MASOCHIST who deserved to be deposed. Come on now, don't start this garbage....

And the other talking point is more semantics: whole elections or elections in parts of Iraq....Does anyone remember the 1860s? In 1864 11 states did not even have national elections....I guess that makes Lincoln illegitimate. It is a contingency issue. There will be elections in the regions that are stable, looking now to be 14 of the 18 regions. Of course, libs will play whatever word games, kind of like the story about Kerry getting support from 9/11 families. The Headline didn't say that only five families endorsed Kerry. Five families out of 3,000. Wow, some mandate, eh?

The Left--we can't run on the issues, so we make crap up, feed it to the networks, and they do our work for us....

John Kerry Delenda Est!
