Cheney hits a homerun for this Q when he discusses the need for tort reform. Again, Edwards, who is supported by trial lawyers, bloviates about how the Kerry plan is better. He even gives some specifics. However, Cheney scores when he says that medicare went up 17% NOT BECAUSE OF BUSH but by statute based on a 1997 law Senator Kerry voted for. He scored big by highlighting Edwards's dodging of medicare taxes, all Edwards does is scream HALLIBURTON! Score one more for the guy with no hair.
