China Watch Update

From the BBC:
The FBI wants to question four Chinese nationals amid fears of a plot to explode a "dirty bomb" in Boston.

Police and FBI agents in Massachusetts were issued with photographs of two men and two women wanted in connection with an "unspecified threat".

Earlier on Wednesday US TV networks reported that agents with radiological sensors were on patrol in Boston.

The FBI and city officials in Boston played down fears, saying reports of a dirty bomb were "uncorroborated".

The four Chinese were named as Zengrong Lin, Wen Quin Zheng, Xiujin Chen and Guozhi Lin.
Here's your alternative superpower...is this the sort of activity you want for the sake of "balance"? I don't...I'd rather some rational, freedom-loving country step up and actually be a superpower instead of talking like they are (yeah, I'm looking at you France and Germany). I'd support Britain in the role...or Australia even...but China? No thanks...

Mark's Remarks

International terrorism is not the conduct of a superpower....Of course, some of those who think the US is spoiled in its role as the remaining superpower would probably say we deserve this, but I disagree.

China should not be an alternate superpower. While commercially I believe they are already a superpower in waiting, as far as foreign affairs wise we should not allow them to dominate as the USSR did as the former superpower. China is in some ways even more repressive because, although we see signs of marketization of the economy, they are still repressive in civil liberties and still worship the teachings of Mao. I will never forget or forgive Tianemen Square until a regime change. Those are my personal feelings, and I am sure the feelings of the thousands of family members who still have no clue what happened to their loved ones who dared to dissent.

Islamofascism Delenda Est!
