Islamic Culture

Mahatma is blogging again (how's that novel coming, buddy?). Our good friend PK, a frequent commenter here on WMD, left a suggested reading article from al-Jihad titled, "Islamic Culture: A convenient scapegoat." It's a great read. I highly recommend it. Especially for bits like this:

[D]aily we bear witness to the hideous spectacle of ignorance, arrogance and prejudice parading freely across the larger part of the countless analyses, columns and articles on Islam and its world that stretch across pages and pages of newspapers, glossy magazines and academic reviews.

Perhaps the ignorant infidels would understand the religion of peace (tm) more if its leaders actually DENOUNCED VOCALLY the Wahabi-Islamo-Fascist whackjobs killing people all over the globe!!!!!! Do you think that might help in our understanding of Islam? Perhaps if key religious leaders would TAKE A STAND against these people (of course they won't because they like the money they are getting) and vocally denounce them with the full authority of the Islamic faith, then maybe, just maybe, more people would "get" Islam.
