Another Yahoo News Alert:(Reuters) Bush to pick US Ambassador to Iraq John Negroponte as director of national intelligence.My gut reaction is that this is a bad choice...I'll have to research this guy a bit more, but I seem to recall this guy having a diplomatic background rather than an intelligence gathering background...not sure what good it will be to have a diplomat in charge of intelligence agencies...

My initial gut reaction is the same, but we originally were not too happy with Porter Goss, but upon further review, I think he was the right choice for CIA.
