Those of you who have been following my series of posts on Amy Joan Schneider's fight for her children will be interested to know that last week she sent me the contempt motion she's facing. On the face of it, it looks like she is in serious trouble. I think she cooked her own goose with some of the rhetoric in her filings. The interesting thing, though, is that the motion was filed by the lawyer for the guardian and not by Judge Webber. Every single complaint in the motion appears to reflect the judge's concerns and has no bearing on the guardian at all. In the end, the filing of this motion comes off as suspicious, at least to me it does.
Any lawyers or child rights advocates have anything to add?
