Did You Know?

For the sixth year in a row, Canada is the top foreign source of oil to the United States. Canada is the largest supplier of oil, natural gas and electricity to the United States.

The United States gets more oil from Canada and Mexico than we do from Sauia Arabia. Canadian oil represents 17% of all imported oil (crude and refined) and 10% of American consumption. Canada supplies over 2 million barrels a day to the United States.

With about 180 billion barrels of oil, Canada has the second largest oil reserves in the world.
