Howeird Scream: Republicans Are "Brain Dead"

From the Toronto Star:

"Keep it simple" is the key to the White House, failed Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean told members of his party from around the world last night.

Note my emphasis...FAILED!!! Presidential candidate...What does he know about getting to the White House other than taking the tour?

One major reason his party lost the 2004 race to the "brain-dead" Republicans is that it has a "tendency to explain every issue in half an hour of detail," Dean told the semi-annual meeting of Democrats Abroad, which brought about 150 members from Canada and 30 other countries to the Toronto for two days.

"I'm going to be very disciplined about how we deliver messages. We can have policy deliberations in rooms like this. On TV, we have to be very focused."

Firstly, great comment about brain dead while we are dealing with the Schiavo case at home, Dr. Dean....wonderful sense of tact...Also, note the condescension and dripping arrogance....The oh so smart Democrats have to dumb down their message so Americans can understand their avant garde and esoteric policies and what is good for them.... How arrogantly presumptious....

Mr. Dean, you have no further to look than yhay self-righteous and paternalistic attitude for why your party lost...that, and they saw that you are the brain dead ones, in that your party has no solutions...we hear how bad NCLB is, where is the concrete plan by the dems? We hear no problems with social security despite studies and recorded statements by democrats that there is a problem, but where is their plan? The Dems have become the party of the past, no new ideas, no vision...sounds like a permanent vegetative state to me...thank goodness for them that they aren't in a Florida hospice, because it would be plug pulling time....
