Mexican President Vicente Fox has denounced border walls the United States is building to stem illegal immigrants, the Washington Post reports.He's convinced walls won't work because he doesn't want walls there in the first place. Walls DO in fact work...check out Israel's wall for example. And they will work for us too...a wall WILL stop illegal immigration which is EXACTLY what Fox doesn't want to happen.
"No country that is proud of itself should build walls ... it doesn't make any sense," Fox told a Mexico City news conference. "We are convinced that walls don't work."
He said it was impossible for Mexico to post military or police patrols along the entire border to prevent crossings.
"We can't keep them against their will by force," he said.
Last month, the U.S. Congress voted to waive environmental regulations and allow completion of a fence along the border south of San Diego.
"We can't keep them [illegal immigrants] against their will by force." No...but you can at least TRY to stop them from breaking our laws. But Fox WANTS these people to break our laws...Mexico's economy is counting on it.

What a total hypocritical jackdaw sack of crap! Mr. Fox denounces our attempts at enforcing our laws, at protecting our economy from this invasion from Mexico, while he is doing far worse at Mexico's Southern Border. Ask Mr. Fox about the immigration death squads that he has patrolling down there. Ask Mr. Fox about what his nation is doing to keep murderers and ex-commandos from coming to our nation from Mexico. You will get no answer, because this con artist is doing nothing. In fact, he is encouraging criminals to come to this nation illegallly, the less Mexico has to put up in prison. Look at the populations in the border states's prisons. Mainly Mexican, mainly people with criminal records in Mexico who came here illegally.
To hell with what Mr. Fox thinks of the wall. We have to do it for our own security. We have uncovered documents talking about terrorists using our porous borders to launch attacks and subversion. The investigations into 9/11 revealed that the terrorists took advantage of our borders. We cannot wait any longer. We must act now to protect our borders, especially since Mexico is DOING NOTHING to police the situation themselves, that they in fact turn a blind eye to it. At least the Canadians do have checkpoints and go through some inspection. Mexico does jack and then chastises us for returning their own citizens to them. How about the corrupt controlling party in Mexico gets its crap together and actually does something to improve the economy, rather than seeking to weed out population by encouraging illegal activity?
