OUTSTANDING!

Yahoo News Alert clues us in about a great decision by the US Supreme Court:
WASHINGTON (AP) The Supreme Court has ruled that states may not pass laws blocking outside wineries from shipping directly to customers.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all about the wine and beer, but did this REALLY have to go to the SUPREME Court?

Mark's Remarks

Let's just be thankful it was this case and not a pledge case....
And shockingly, some of this was an actual Constitutional issue, as opposed to legislating from the bench. The issue involved the governance of interstate commerce, found in the Constitution. So, for once, the Court was actually interpreting the law via what the Constitution says, not trying to hold it up to UV lighting ala Nick Cage and find things that aren't there...you know, like right to abortion, freedom from religion, etc.
