BizzyBlog reports that Ohio finally has a 2006 budget. He isn't happy with it (read the "more" section too) and I'm not overly thrilled with it either.
Republicans still can't seem to draw the connection between the business climate in this state and our lagging economic performance. What good is a tax cut of 21% if we don't have secure jobs? Bizzy notes that Ohio's unemployment rate is STILL a full point above the national average.
Fortunately for Republicans, the Democrats haven't figured out the solution either. They are still talking tax hikes and massive state government expenditures.
I'm afraid it is still a matter of maintaining the status quo in Columbus...
