Adoption agency rejects Catholics

Via Tyler at Midwest by DC, I learn that there is a Christian adoption agency that is refusing to place children wit hCatholic familes because "their religion conflicts with the agency's 'Statement of Faith'."

As Tyler asks, so do I: Can you imagine the OUTRAGE! if you substituted the word Muslim for Catholic in that piece? I can...

Mark's Remarks

This is a disgrace. While I have some doctrinal issues with Catholicism, I would never discriminate against a loving family who was vetted and the only factor for rejection would be their denomination. This organization is not Christian, in the truest sense of the word. Christ appealed even to those with whom he disagreed or who were different, like the ancient Gentiles and Greeks, etc. To now refuse people of a different Christian denomination is a disgrace and an OUTRAGE!
