Democrat News has
endorsed (gasp!) Paul Hackett for the OH2 Congressional race. We think this is great because the DDN has a terrible track record with this sort of thing and rarely gets an endorsement right. This time is no different. Their rationale? Hackett is a Democrat and Jean Schmidt is mean. Really. Read the silly thing.
I've been lambasting the Dayton Daily
Democrat News for quite some time now, especially Editor Jeff Bruce, in a number of my columns for the
Miami Valley Conservative Alliance, so I pretty much expected this betrayal of common sense.
Of course, this endorsement means very little in the galactic scheme of things anyway as the DDN is not in the district...
Mark's Remarks
The DDN is nothing more than a liberal conspiracy rag. With the exception of the sports section, you would be better off reading the super market tabloids for things closer to rationality and the truth.
