CBS/Infinity Radio has refused to air paid commercial announcements for an upcoming non-partisan symposium on terrorism, claiming "people might be too emotionally affected" by it.

The People’s Truth Forum, which is sponsoring the symposium titled The Radical-Islamist Threat to World Peace and National Security to be held in Connecticut on Sept. 21, was rebuffed by CBS/Infinity Radio when the PTF’s president, Jeffrey Epstein, tried to purchase commercial time to publicize the event.

Now, you can't even talk about how to fight terrorism...amazing...

I am OUTRAGED! to find that this supporter of scum is on the staff of a newspaper...Wait...we are talking about the Guardian, right? You know, that paper which just loves Peter "Blowhard" Barnett, the lover of Saddam and creator of flights of fancy....So, it does not surprise me the Guardian is taking this stance.

What else is reprehensible is that the BBC and other news organizations continue to use insurgents and other euphemisms for terrorist. I believe it was the Dallas Morning Star and a few other papers who have thrown that insurgent, jihadist, politically correct garbage out of their lexicon and are now calling a spade a spade, ie--someone who bombs civilians nowhere near a military installation or terror camp or who cuts off people's heads for kicks--a terrorist.
