SEOUL, South Korea (AP) Officials say South Korea has agreed to provide the communist North with 500,000 tons of rice in exchange for rights mining rights in the North.

This is interesting. Kim Jong Il appears to actually be doing something about his country's biggest problem...and seems willing to give up something valuable to him in order to get it. I'll be curious to see if this deal actually goes through or not...
