WASHINGTON (AP) Senate Judiciary Committee Arlen Specter on Tuesday pressed Democrats to agree on a precise timetable for a final confirmation vote on Judge John Roberts.Chuck the Schmuck said something along the lines of "When Hell freezes over." And Teddy "The Chappaquiddick U-Boat Commander" Kennedy mumbled incoherently.

A Durbin-Gate brewing?
Dick Durbin asked Roberts about his Catholic faith. Then he didn't. It seems after Jon Turley reported the story for the LA Times that Durbin had basically established a litmus test of Roberts's Catholic faith, Durbin's office called to say, nope, didn't happen...However, according to Turley, who originally cited annonymous sources, one of those sources WAS Durbin.
Now, why aren't we hearing outrage about this? Here we have a Senator, noted apologist for Gitmo Terrorists Dick Durbin applying a litmus test to a Supreme Court nominee, leaking the private meeting to the press, then saying he didn't?
I demand an investigation! I demand the 67 Chrysler be brought back out. I demand we find out what Mary Jo thinks....
Durbin and leading Democrats are showing a great hypocrisy in their needling of Roberts on his religion. Just because the man is true to his faith should not block him from being on the High Court. To do so would violate the Constitution....Wait, we are talking about Democrats, they don't care about the Constitution....my bad.
