It's 8:00 and I'm seeing only two counties with results posted at the moment. Hackett has a slight lead in Brown County 52% to 46% with 460 votes cast. Jean Schmidt is not a favorite of the Brown County GOP. Her heated contest with Tom Niehaus really upset some folks there. Here's hoping they didn't just stay home.
In Hamilton County, it is Jean Schmidt with a 54% to 45% lead over Paul Hackett.
Combined totals gives Schmidt 2177 votes and Hackett 1871 votes.
