In the most recent episode of "Real Time with BIll Maher", which last aired last night, the famous author likened the hurricanes and tsunami to the Earth's immune system trying to get rid of us like a virus. Bill Maher asked if that would be such a bad thing? Vonnegut said it would be a great thing. Of course, the unthinking liberal throng in the audience applauded, not realizing that that would mean they would die, too. Unless they think they are cockroaches or something....
I wonder if they people in New Orleans and the South would feel like knowing that those caring libs like Maher and Vonnegut think they deserve what they are going through....
In the same show, Mr. Maher talked about all the failures of George W. Bush. It went something like this: two towers, part of the Pentagon, the (fictional) surplus, our allies, and now you've destroyed a whole city. Get the hint and get out.
Well, Mr. Maher, let's look at your career. You have never had a successful film or TV series in which you weren't griping and moaning about something you know nothing about. Your last series was cancelled not only due to lack of interest but also your inflammatory comments that we deserved to be attacked on 9/11, and that we are cowards. Your current program survives with a heavy influx of Lefty charity money, not to mention your frequent phalanx of lib guests appear pro bono. Your show survives because of the graciousness of your host network, HBO, which does not exactly like GWB. If you were in the free market, you would not survive.
Lastly, Bill Maher not only encouraged the destruction of us as a people, but he also made racial epithets. I wonder what would have been the response if Rush Limbaugh had said this: (registering for different occaisions at stores and having people buy gifts you chose) is like looting for white people."
By his very comments, he is being racist. Of course, no one says anything because, he is a liberal, he has to be just kidding. But of course, if Rush says it, he must be a racist.
Bill Maher makes me puke.
