* Hon. Courtney Combs, State Representative from Butler County (Hamilton);
* Fred Dailey, Director, Ohio Department of Agriculture (Mt. Vernon);
* Hon. Jay Hottinger, State Senator from Licking County (Newark);
* Hon. Bob McEwen, former member of the U.S. Congress and former State Representative (Hillsboro);
* Hon. Toni Middleton, Mayor of Alliance;
* Hon. Rob Montgomery, Franklin County Recorder;
* Hon. Tom Raga, State Representative from Butler County (Mason);
* Hon. Linda Reidelbach, State Representative from Franklin County (Columbus);
and
* Hon. John White, State Representative from Montgomery County (Kettering) and Chairman of the Montgomery County Republican Party.
There are a couple of real interesting names on this list. John White would be good in this position. Bill Batchelder and Courtney Combs would be fascinating choices as well.

I am telling you, if Blackwell names McEwen, I will be tempted to swing to the other side to Montgomery. Blackwell is known for making savvy judgements, so I hope he will do the right thing and leave Bumbling Bob to run for dogcatcher somewhere.
